Had a lovely double room for 2 nights. The place looked clean and well-kept, and the bar meals were tasty! Just a bummer that there was some loud party action that kept us up late. Nice big parking space and convenient for town too, tho!

my stay was made even better by the fact that the hotel is just a short walk of about 500 meters to Cale Green Park, a perfect spot for a relaxing stroll, and only about a 15-minute walk to the fascinating Staircase House, where I loved exploring the local history.

The location was convenient for our visit to nearby attractions, like the Air Raid Shelters and Bramall Hall. The room was comfortable and spacious, making it easy to relax after a long day. the breakfast options were quite limited, especially for kids, which was a bit disappointing. it was a decent stay, but there’s room for improvement.

all in all, take a bow alma lodge! i loved the atmosphere here. the staff went above and beyond, especially when they set up a private table for us away from the noise. the breakfast selection was great and the food was tasty. it felt clean and homely, perfect for our one-night stay. the big room made it easy to travel with a cot.
